In celebration of the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th May 2023, Faberge are introducing two new commemorative lockets to their Heritage collection.
The Heritage Gold State Coach Surprise Locket features a miniature replica of the iconic Gold State Coach, which has been a splendid sight at royal coronations, jubilees, and events since it was built in 1762 to transport British kings and queens. The miniature carriage sits upon a carnelian carved stone platform and is adorned with a diamond on the side of the door.
The Heritage Coronation Crown Surprise Locket is inspired by St Edward’s Crown, the crown used at the moment of coronation and one of the nation’s most precious treasures. The Fabergé crown surprise is crafted from 18k yellow gold, hand-decorated in a majestic purple lacquer and is set with 4 round blue sapphires,10 round Gemfields Zambian emeralds and 2 round Gemfields Mozambican rubies, and sits upon a carved carnelian stone platform.
Both lockets feature the British Hallmarking Council’s new hallmark, depicting King Charles III’s head, as a tribute to this special year.
