The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) inaugurated India Diamond Week today in Mumbai which will conclude on 17th October 2019.
In this event more than 40 diamond manufacturers from India would exhibit and network with over 80 buyers companies visiting from Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Israel, Middle East, North America, Russia. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, GJEPC, Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC, Dilip Shah, Exhibition Sub - Committee International, GJEPC, international coordinators, and other members marked their presence during the lamp lighting inauguration ceremony.
During the inauguration ceremony, Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, GJEPC said, "97 per cent of cut and polished diamonds are exported and only 7 per cent is used in India. This is the 3rd edition of India Diamond Week 2019 and we are here to build relationships. We assure that India Diamond Week 2019 will help establishing business ties and growth."
