As an initiative towards environmental sustainability, the members of the organising committee of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) planted saplings at the Rajasthan University campus and the residence of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Alpana Kateja. The Vice Chancellor welcomed this step of team JJS. The event was organized by JJS in collaboration with Srishti Foundation. The Chairman of the JJS Organizing Committee, Vimal Chand Surana; Honorary Secretary of JJS, Rajiv Jain; Vice President of JJS, Dinesh Khatoria, Founder of Srishti Foundation, Vivek Sharma and other members of the JJS Organizing Committee were present on the occasion.
Rajiv Jain said that JJS has always been committed to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. In the first phase of this plantation campaign, 200 saplings were planted.
